The BANDALOOP Gala
An Inaugural Event
The Sky is Not the Limit

Support dance education and public art in Oakland while reveling in awe-inspiring BANDALOOP performance, open bar, and catered dinner by Chef Lamont of Montperi Catering & Events.

The BANDALOOP Gala brings together the leaders, movers, and shakers who will help us expand the possibilities of our work in Oakland and beyond. Funds raised at the event will allow us to certify more teachers, cultivate inclusive learning environments, expand outdoor education offerings,  and provide enrichment opportunities for artists. More simply, we will provide awe. We will promote wellness. We will bring people together. We will help someone to feel free.

What inspires me is that BANDALOOP is an arts and cultural anchor that is playing a role in sustaining artists and our place in West Oakland amidst so much change and displacement for our Oakland community.

In the BANDALOOP studio, I felt a reconnection with my body that truly made my heart soar. I don’t often get the chance to feel truly free, and I feel like getting a chance to just bathe in that feeling every week helped me to feel centered and calm.
